PWC Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1997 to supply the global cleanroom market with low cost, easy to use, non-contaminating foggers for visualizing airflow in laminar flow cleanrooms. Airborne contamination is the leading cause of rejects. Traditionally, only high-technology, aerospace and pharmaceutical companies invested in cleanrooms. The cleanroom market has been growing into all types of industries in an effort to control contamination by reducing waste and improving yields, thus increasing profit margins. Whatever the application, cleanrooms require certification upon completion of construction and then semi-annual or annual recertification.  Cleanroom foggers are an important tool for certification and trouble shooting. The line of PWC foggers use only ultra-pure water (deionized or distilled) to produce the fog.  Fog is either generated by dry ice (CO2) evaporation or ultrasonic transducers.  The only residual is microscopic water droplets.
